End Times Bible Prophecy

I remember reading the parts of the prophetic books of the Bible when I was a youngster, and even into high school and beyond, I was completely intimidated by the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Revelation…not to mention the minor prophets…Micah who? I remember thinking, and even being taught that the prophetic books of the Bible were too symbolic and hard to understand, so why bother?

However, as I’ve gotten older, and our world is changing in crazy ways, I’ve spent the better part of the last 2-3 years digging deeper into Daniel and Revelation. What I’ve discovered is absolutely fascinating, and comforting in the sense that a regular person really CAN understand God’s prophetic plan, and what He tells us through His Word. Will I ever understand everything? Not on this earth! However, God wants us to understand His Word, or He wouldn’t have written it down for us to study. He has given us His Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. So, don’t be afraid or intimidated! Dip a toe in, wade up to your knees, and then get ready. Before long, you’ll find yourself diving deep, relishing the joy of letting God teach you what He wants you to know. So…want to go for a swim?
