Return of the King!

Jesus is coming soon! Do you believe that? I believe it with all my heart. In these crazy times we’re living in, we are seeing all around us the things Jesus said would precede His coming to gather His church. Yet, when I tell people that I believe Jesus could come this year, or next year, and that our time on this earth is SO short, many look at me like I’m crazy. Why, in these amazing times, as we’re seeing the set-up of so many things in Biblical prophecy, is it such a taboo thing to believe Jesus is coming any moment? Isn’t that what we say all the time? And yet, in our daily lives, we don’t seem to really believe that. Why?

There is so much confusion surrounding the End Times, the signs of the Last Days, the Rapture, the fulfillment of Revelation, whether it’s literal or allegorical….the list goes on and on. The Enemy would love for us to stay in this state of confusion and miss the joy of what Paul called our Blessed Hope! But, confusion is not from God, and we have the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth, and help us understand the times we’re living in. We CAN know God’s plan and recognize on some level what He’s doing in this world. 

Let’s unpack some of these topics together, and see what God’s word has to say about them. In the meantime, rest in the hope of these verses, and the promised return of our Mighty King, Jesus Christ!

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that Blessed Hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:11-14
